Voice Effects in Avatar Messages

Avatar messages have voice effects that change the pitch of the recorded message. Each avatar has an associated voice effect that is of a higher or lower pitch than the normal range.

You can adjust or turn off voice effects when you compose an avatar message.

To adjust the voice effects when you compose a message

1.   In the Inbox, tap .

2.   Record your avatar message.

3.   Tap and then drag the blue dot along the voice effects line to change the pitch higher, lower, or set to OFF (no effects). This will affect only the current message.

4.   Tap Done.

5.   To preview the message, tap .

To adjust voice effects from the overflow menu

You can also adjust the voice effects settings by tapping the overflow menu and then selecting Voice Effects Level or the Voice Effects check box.

●  Select the Voice Effects Level option to adjust the pitch of the voice.

●  Select the Voice Effects check box to turn on voice effects for the message.

●  Clear the Voice Effects check box to turn off voice effects for the message. This will also turn off voice effects for all future messages that you record.
